I know, I should be writing about our recent trip to Italy. And I am working on it, but I am just so happy to be back in Vienna that I can't stand to write about anything else.
I took the entire morning to roam my European home by myself. I had a slight agenda- I have declared this week Jugendstil/Art Nouveau week for me and me alone (and all who tag along) and I had a clear plan to visit a few buildings in the inner city and hit the Easter Markets along the way. All of the buildings were closed for Easter Monday (it's a public holiday here), so I just wandered the swank parts of the city and window gazed. For the afternoon, I returned home to claim Maya and Brooke and we went to two Easter Markets and bought decorative eggs, pumpkin seed oil, soaps, etc.... Great day in my little home away from home. (Also, snowed all day yesterday, a little today, and will again tomorrow--just so you don't think it is the weather that has gone to my head. Arghh)
